Each piece is carved from a single jadeite boulder, a very rare natural jadeite formation! An amazing art piece! A beautiful pair of sculptures by our Master craftsman! A truly, timeless collection.

This beautiful pair and unique "Prosperity Children" are skilfully designed and carved from a very rare, translucent icy brilliant lavender and orangey jadeite jade. The unique colour formation has allowed our Master craftsman to skilfully divides the colours of the jadeite through his delicate carvings.

The Deep Lavender hue jadeite is carved into a “Boy holding the fire crackers” with the skin of the jadeite boulder in orangey colour. This symbolises good luck and great fortune coming upon the bearer. The Icy Lavender hue is carved into a “Girl playing with the drum” which has a symbolism of amplifying all the blessings.

The carving of the Children is a symbol of fertility-(多子多孙), love and as beacon of hope for greater things to come. The joyful children also symbolize growth and rebirth. The symbols of life and energy that boost fertility and hope. It is a sign of life that will always find a way to survive and thrive even amidst disaster. In many Chinese’s art and poetry, children are used to depict the art of joy and happiness – (欢天喜地).
